How to Get Anonymous Messages on Instagram (Step by Step)

Step 1: Create your anonymous link

1. Open nobodychat.com and tap “Get your anonymous link”.
2. Confirm you’re 18 or older.
3. Keep the suggested nickname or type your own — your link is made from it automatically.
4. Copy your password or take a screenshot. There’s no email, so it can’t be recovered.

Step 2: Add the link to your Instagram story

1. Copy your link from your NobodyChat inbox.
2. Open Instagram and start a new story (a photo, a plain background or a screenshot of your NobodyChat page all work well).
3. Tap the sticker icon and choose the “Link” sticker.
4. Paste your link, tap Done, and place the sticker where people will see it.
5. Add a question as text, like “Ask me anything 👀” or “Be honest: what’s your first impression of me?”.

Step 3: Put it in your bio too

Stories disappear after 24 hours. To keep getting messages, add your link to your Instagram bio: go to your profile, tap Edit profile, then Links, and add your NobodyChat link.

Tips to get more replies

• Ask a specific question. “Rate my outfit 1–10” gets more replies than “Send me messages”.
• Post at the times your friends are most active — usually evenings.
• Share some of your favorite answers in a follow-up story. It shows people their messages are read, and they’ll send more.
